AlienTech has announced that it will host a European CS:GO league with €9,000 in cash prizes. Following up on the success of its previous tournaments, which include several online cups and an international offline event with €6,000 in cash prizes, AlienTech has announced its biggest competition yet, featuring a prize pool of €9,000 - approximately $10,000. Eight teams - half of whom hail from Portugal - will battle it out in the AlienTech CS:GO League, kicking off on February 15 with a round-robin stage involving all the competing sides. At the end of this stage, the top six sides will advance to the offline finals, which will take place from April 8-10 at an as-yet undisclosed location. Below you can find the six teams who have been invited by AlienTech to compete in the league: The remaining two spots will be filled by the top-placed sides of an online qualifier for Portuguese teams only, scheduled for February 7-10.
