SLTV StarSeries IX Finals will offer a hefty $30,000 in prize money, an increase of 100% from the previous season's $15,000, with the winners going home $14,000 richer.

Originally the four teams making the trip to Kiev were supposed to be NiP, Titan, Virtus.pro and fnatic, but the DreamHack Winter champions decided to not attend the finals.

Titan, who shocked the scene last week by recruiting Kenny "kennyS" Schrub to replace the departed Richard "shox" Papillon, will debut with their new lineup later today against Virtus.pro.
